Time to reach out and tackle new challenges

I’ve been thinking deeply over the last few weeks, about what gives me joy and where I’m best placed. The words of an inspirational late Deputy Secretary came to mind recently. When I found myself at a career crossroads she told me to get over it, that there were a lot more issues in the world to focus on and that looking backwards achieves nothing.

In this spirit, and the desire to keep achieving social good in the world, I’ve decided to return to consulting. Perhaps for a small while, perhaps longer, time will tell.

I’ve learned so much in my varied roles, from working across stakeholders to develop policy submissions and advocacy strategies, to drafting succesful funding submissions and conducting research and evaluations.

Social policy is my jam, and whilst I have deep knowledge of early childhood education I’m experienced in working across broader education, youth, employment and other social policy areas.

I enjoy a network of fellow consultants who I partner with to strengthen qualitative and quantitative evaluation expertise, and to bring a small team to larger pieces of work.

Here’s a short summary of my skills. Reach out if there’s a way I can help.
